SQL SERVER – 2008 – Book On-Line Link – BOL

I am researching SQL Server 2008. Those who are asking me questions about SQL Server 2008, please refer following link. I will post my tutorials and articles very soon. Books Online is commonly known as BOL.

Here is the link to SQL Server 2016 Technical Documentation or SQL Server 2016 Books Online. Books online is a single resource, which I refer first before I look anywhere else for help. It is my go to place for help. However, my experience says sometimes the explanation is not so clear on BOL, but the information is correct most of the time. SQL Server 2016 BOL is divided in following major topics:

• Database Engine
• Data Quality Services
• Analysis Services
• Integration Services
• Master Data Services
• Replication
• Reporting Services

You can select each of them and read major topics from the its own authentication documentation. Some people love to have BOL in their local machine and it is possible as well. However, this is subject of blog post for some other time and we will include them later.

Here is one question to you – are you still using SQL Server 2008, I think it is time now that you upgrade to the latest version of SQL Server.
