I will always remember August 20, 2015 as a landmark milestone for SQLAuthority.com. On that day, this blog crossed 100 Million Views.
On August 20th, this blog crossed 100 Million Views. When I started this journey on November 1, 2006, I had no idea that there will be over 100 Million Views on this blog. I am indeed very proud and happy that my humble attempt of writing my experience online has been appreciated by YOU!
No matter how much I want to thank you, I seriously have no words to express. I am happy that you accepted SQLAuthority.com and showered your love.

What 100 Million Views Mean to Me
A number this big is hard to picture, so I think of it one visit at a time. Each view is someone stuck on an error, looking for a script, or getting ready for an interview, who chose to read a page here. That is the part that makes me smile, not the counter.
It is also a shared result. Many scripts on this blog got better because a reader left a smarter version in the comments, and many posts started as a question in my inbox. So a big part of this milestone belongs to you, the people who ask, correct and share. Every correction made the answer better for the next reader who came along.
If you have ever thought of writing a blog of your own, here is my honest advice: start small and keep going. Write down one thing you learned today, along with the script that proved it. Nobody expects perfect posts. Readers value clear, simple answers they can try on their own server, and showing up regularly matters far more than talent. Your notes may help someone you will never meet.
Finally, if you are new here, try searching for a few words from your error message along with SQLAuthority. With so many posts written over the years, there is a good chance someone asked the same question before you. And if not, leave a comment. Your question may become the next post.
