Sir, in simple terms and example, could you please tell us/ an article is most desireable about wait and queue.. thanks in adavnce
Hi Pinal,
I am seeing waittypes for a update statement as Cxpacket and SOS-Scheduler_Yied and the it goes for ever , the table is a partitioned table when i remove the partion and run the uodate it takes 3mins however with partioned table it is takeing over 1.5 hours. I have clustered index on the the column which is partioned column.
Kindly advice what could be the issue.
Thank you
