Some emails, indeed triggers blog posts such as the one I received the other day about database samples.
“Hey Pinal,
I read your earlier blog posts related to how to install sample database wideworldimports. It was good, however we would love to know how to stay updated with all the latest developments related to sample databases? Is there any place where we can go and always get updated links to database samples?”
I think the question is very much valid. We all always wanted to know where we can get the latest updates.
Here is the link where you can go and get updated information related to SQL Server Samples. Additionally, here is another shortcut which is available in SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), where you go to Help >> Community Projects & Samples and get the latest updated about sample databases.
Here is the first image which demonstrates the Help Menu.
In the following image it displays the SSMS with browser opened inside it.
Let me know if you use the sample databases to build your proof of concepts. I use them quite often to demonstrate various new features to my customers who signs up for my services.
