I’ll be attending MVP Open Day 2008 in Goa from November 15 to 17, and I’m looking forward to it. If you’re in Goa during those dates, we could meet one evening after the sessions.

It was wonderful to meet old friends and make new ones. For me, those connections are an important part of any community gathering. This event gave us plenty of opportunities to get to know one another.

One of the most satisfying parts of community work is having your efforts appreciated by your peers. I was grateful for the encouragement I received for SQLAuthority.com. I also picked up useful ideas about blogging and technology during conversations with friends. I look forward to sharing them here as time allows.

This was a memorable event, and I enjoyed being part of it.

Shaivi Pinalkumar Dave is a book author and a women’s artistic gymnast.
