I am glad to inform all the blog readers regarding new updated banner of this site. I would like to thank Ritesh, Sanjay and Rashmika who have spent their time to create the banner and gift to SQLAuthority. I really like the new banner, and I hope you will too.

What the New Banner Meant to Me
Looking back at this post, the thing I remember most is not the colors or the font. It is the fact that three readers gave their own evenings to make something for a blog they did not own. That kind of gift is rare, and it told me the site had become a small community and not just a place to copy scripts.
A banner on a technical blog has a simple job. It should tell a visitor, in one look, where they have landed and what the site is about. Most people arrive from a search engine with an error message in their head. If the header is clean and easy to recognize, they trust the page a little faster and come back when they see the name again. A header that changes every month does the opposite, so a stable look matters more than a fancy one.
The site has changed its look a few times since 2008, and the old images in this post may not show the way they did back then. That is fine with me. Design gets updated, but the reason behind it stays the same: make it easy for readers to find help.
If you ever want to thank a community that helped you, you do not need design skills. Point out a typo, report a script that no longer works, or suggest a topic that confused you. Those small notes improve a blog more than most people think. Ritesh, Sanjay and Rashmika, thank you again. I still smile when I see your work.

Sir, In Bangalore we have created fan club of yours.
We meet twice a week. Currently we have 46 members in our group. We pick any of your article and discuss in depth.
We are learning group so we are going to stay away from fancy websites or sponsers or funding. We just meet and learn. We use your website as our base.

The old banner was much better for me. This new one has no atmoshphere and is clean and bright like a modern tv advert.
Old one had atmoshere and heart, was more human ;)
btw: Your site is great, I’m 5 years sql developer an I like to read about tricks on your website or just usable sql snippets. Good thing is also articles from basics, it is very helpful for beginner developer.

I need to get the field name of the Primary key in a particular table in MS-SQL server using Query. How can i get this???
The following Query is used to get all information about table, but i can’t get the Primary key field name
SELECT * FROM INFORMATION_SCHEMA.Columns WHERE TABLE_NAME = ‘tbltest’;

MVP Certification was lacking in previous banner so in new banner MVP Certificate with good look its like cherry on cake.

The old banner is very nice than the new one, they can take up the old banner and add that mvp over there, the background of the old banner is very simple and nice.
