SQL SERVER – Migration Assistant for Access, MySQL, Oracle, Sybase

SQL Server Migration Assistant (SSMA) is a free supported tool from Microsoft that simplifies database migration process from Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) to SQL Server or SQL Azure. SSMA automates all aspects of migration including migration assessment analysis, schema and SQL statement conversion, data migration as well as migration testing.

    Unfortunately for the Oracle server connection is failed. provider oracle clinet using the error :
    “Connection to Oracle failed.
    System.Data.OracleClient requires Oracle client software version 8.1.7 or greater. ”
    and oledb provider using the error:
    “Error finding Oracle OLE DB provider.Requested registry access is not allowed.”
    will you please help? Thanks contents good

  • Hi, When i connecting Sybase database through SSMA, it shows error message as “Unable to find provider : Sybase Data Access Connectivity libraries were not found on the machine. You can install them from Sybase product media or download it from Sybase web site.”

    Can you please help on this..?
