Recently I got the opportunity to feature on the Podcast of amazing DeveloperWeekly by Barry Luijbregts. It was so much to discuss the personal brand and SQL with Barry. This weekend, I suggest you list to the podcast as I believe I have shared many personal business secrets in this podcast.
Building a recognizable brand is indeed a long process. When I started my career, I have had no idea what it means and how it will affect me. I just decided to blog every single day about the things which I learn from my real-world experience. The real-world problems may be complicated but their solutions are simple and effective. This was very clearly reflected in my writing and contribution. I made up my mind that I will never stop learning and whatever I learn I will make sure to blog.
It has been over 13 years since I have been blogging every single day. My blog post always remained relative concise and I want people to read it while they travel in the elevator. I believe I have been successful in doing that. My passion is SQL Server Performance Tuning and based on my learnings and real-world experience I was able to craft out my own consulting service Comprehensive Database Performance Health Check.
I talk about about all this and much more in the podcast on DeveloperWeekly. Here is the podcast.
I suggest you hear the podcast and give me your feedback about personal brand. I will be always willing to listen to what you have to say and will respond back immediately. I have learned a lots of stuff by just listening to my audience and their opinion. The best advice is always from the people who love and care about you.
Barry at Developer Weekly has been doing amazing stuff by interviewing many industry leaders. If you like what you hear, you should subscribe to his webcast.
