Just a quick one.. on the GS3 you don’t need the task killer. Just hold down the home button at the bottom and swipe the apps to close them..It may not be available until you upgrade to the current 4.0.1

Here are some of my favourites apps excluding the social media ones.

1- BubbleUPnP – Let me stream my music directly from my NAS drive to my Nexus One or gTablet

2- Dolphin Browser – Definitely the best Android browser out there

3- ES File Explorer – Probably the best file manager I’ve ever tried

4- Google Authenticator – Generates 2-step verification codes on your phone.

5- Super Keyboard – Better keyboard replacement/alternative for android

This is an old topic that has been argued into the ground. Barring the early versions of Android (Froyo and older), there is no good reason to use a task killer.

Please do not use task killers. There are a numerous sites explaining why, this is just the first I found.
