Need Help.

I have tried to install SQL server 2005 Enterprise Edition on windows 7 ultimate.

On the “Components to Install” screen it shows all options Disabled (greyed out). Only available option is “Work Station Components”. All other options like SQL Server database Services, Analysis Services, Reporting Services are not available.

Can someone tell me whats wrong?

I want to use Full Text Search for my project on search indexing.

So installing SQL Express is not usefull i have to install SQL 2005 Enterprise.

Any idea how to fix this error? I really need to install MSSQL Server 2005.

OS: WIndows Vista Ultimate – SP1
Processor: AMD Dual Core – 2GB RAM

I have installed SQL Server 2005 on a Vista Business. I am able to connect to SQL Server instance on Vista machine from Management Studio on other machine (Running on Xp).
But I am not able to connect to Analysis Services default instance on Vista Business machine from Management Studio on other machine (Running on Xp).
I did all settings with Vista firewall exceptions, SQL Surface area configuration, Security, everything.
Please tell me do I need to modify something else on ‘Vista Business’.

Data Engine, Analysis Services, Integration Services all installed without issue and were fine once SP2 was applied.

Could not locate entry in sysdatabases for database ‘maneesh’. No entry found with that name. Make sure that the name is entered correctly.
But i entered ev name correctly.and i am not making anytype tabels in sql2005.Solve these problem please.
